What monster she
that in a fit of infamy
could cut an eye
as though it were a stye
What monster she
that could take a grain of salt
and make of it a poison
to keep in memory's vault?
What monster she
that could love stain
all green in envy plain?
What monster she
that makes a sin fast
and not rescind
a temple ruined?
Watch monster she
whose gaze would be
unending penalty?
What monster she?
